I used to be a Pentecostal with a firm faith in “divine healing”. I have since renounced Pentecostalism and my thoughts on healing have evolved. I have written on illness and deaths a lot, and one of the conclusions I reached was that many Christians do not die well. I wrote an essay to explain this and someone asked me to provide a biblical basis for my argument. By the time I was done, I had written 5,000 plus words. I have since published this essay in three parts.
